Rusty Stevens competes in the SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge in the #89 Rusty Unlimited trophy truck. CPF provided the race prep and support for team Rusty Unlimited in its bid to conquer one of the most difficult races of the year. After starting in the back of the pack Rusty drove his way to a tenth place finish on Saturday, setting up an opportunity for a good run on Sunday. At mile marker three on Sunday, the day was ended with a blown motor. Look for team Rusty Unlimited at the Mint 400.

After hundreds of hours in design, the initial parts of our new trophy truck have been received from laser cut. This new truck will have the latest designed CPF front and rear suspension arms and components, Fox Shox, ProAm hubs, PWR cooling system, and powered by a Nissan motor. Keep monitoring our website as we post new pictures of the build in progress.

CPF’s new class 1 car for Bob Mowbray was brought back from Tomb Enterprises in Phoenix, Arizona where Matt Tomb designed a one of a kind aluminum body. The design and workmanship throughout this car makes it one of the finest vehicles we have done so far. This is our first vehicle engineered completely in SolidWorks prior to fabrication. It is built as a right hand drive, light weight, fast and reliable buggy engineered for the high speed demands of the Australian outback. This class 1 will make its debut some time in April or early May after its long journey home to Sydney Australia. Click here to see photos of the buggy. |
